Explore the Libraries’ vault on Feb. 12

“Library Libations” features a vault tour, Wolfpack stories, and hands-on bookmaking

Admit it—you’ve always wanted to look into the secret vault of the Libraries’ most special collections. Come to our “Library Libations” event on Wednesday, Feb. 12 at 6:00 p.m. at the Hill Library for a lively vault tour of the Special Collections Research Center, and enjoy drinks and a behind-the-scenes look at the Preservation workspace, too!

You’ll be treated to show-and-tell displays from our archives and a first-hand look at the techniques used by the Preservation team as well as some fun, hands-on bookmaking activities. You will also hear Wolfpack stories from the past and present through the oral history project Wolf Tales.

This “Library Libations” event is free to current Friends of the Library (FoL) members and Life Members; pre-registration is required. New non-members can take advantage of a one-time offer to join Friends of the Library by purchasing a membership at a discounted event rate of $20 cash at the door. Lasped FoL members can renew here.
